THOMAS HABENICHT

Tom Habenicht has been a cross country coach at Keystone and he coached at Elyria. While at Elyria he helped lead the boys cross country team to a conference title and the girls team to take second. That season Elyria also had the NOC Conference Champion, 10 All-Conference Awards and 1 Regional Qualifier. After the cross country season was complete at Elyria, Tom reestablished the winter running program which lead into the track season, which he also coached as the distance coach. His track distance runners won 5 All-Conference Awards, and had 2 Regional Qualifiers as well as 1 State Qualifier.
 
Earlier in his career Tom was also the graduate assistant cross country and track & field coach at Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania. While in this position, Tom mentored a WVIAC Cross Country Conference Champion, 10 All-Conference Runners, 3 freshmen of the year. Tom still enjoys running with both the students and with local runners; he competes in different road races within the area.
