The 4 Pillars of the KHS Football Program

Julie Jones inspiring our athletes.

For Keystone High School's 64th eleven man football team, summer was packed with team activities and practices, including a team camp on Heidelberg's campus for three days.

This season, Coach Griswold and assistant coaches are focusing on “Full Benefit: a mindset that we should glean benefits from the situations we find ourselves in. The highs, lows, and in-between offer an opportunity to grow and learn.” There are four pillars of the program: Love Your Teammates, Relentless Effort, Choose a Great Attitude, and Do Your Job.

Also, Coach Julie Jones was hired to work in the football program. Her focus is to “work with our student athletes and their mental approach to life. This is called "inner work," which supports our students' mental health and performance.”

Thanks to Head Football Coach Don Griswold and our assistant coaches for the vast amount of time, unwavering devotion, and dedication to our student athletes, not just academically and athletically but also mentally and socially.
