We have MANY upcoming concerts at all three schools to celebrate the start of our holiday season. First, I would like to say great job to our second graders for their excellent performance this past Tuesday and to our KMS band students this past Wednesday!
On Monday, Dec 12, our sixth graders will perform their holiday concert at 6:30pm, which will be followed by our seventh and eighth grade choir students at 7:30. Both concerts will be held in the KHS Cafetorium.
KHS will hold a combined band and choir concert on Wednesday, Dec 14 at 7pm in the KHS cafetorium. Our first graders will conclude the holiday season concerts on Thurs, Dec 15 at 7pm in the KES Cafetorium.
As a reminder, this Monday, December 12 at 6:30pm at our Board of Education meeting, we will discuss the plausibility of adding a softball and baseball field, field-house and greenhouse to our campus within the next five years. We aim to make this a part of our master plan; in addition to the master plan, we are in the process of developing a new strategic plan, as our previous five-year plan began in 2018 and will conclude in 2023. The meeting will be held in the KMS cafeteria.
On Monday, December 19 at 7pm in KMS cafeteria, we will hold an Early Education Intervention Night. The purpose of this evening is to connect families of young children with early literacy and numeracy resources to help build the foundation as our pre-k students enter kindergarten. Our presenters include Chelsea Freeman, Executive Director of Lorain County’s Children & Families First Council, Kate Cunningham, Parent Liaison, and Keystone’s Director of Pupil Services Nikki Campbell.

Lastly, today is the last day to order holiday cookie kits from our FCCLA. The $15 kits include nine Christmas cookies, two bags of frosting, and two containers of sprinkles.
