I would like to congratulate Mrs. Pearce’s choir students, Madison Bowman, Eli Ross, Emily Wittlinger, Colton Smith, Lilly Horner, Madison Taraschke, Lily Dudziak, and Donovon Lankey, on their participation in the OMEA District IV/VII Honors Choir Festival at Cleveland State University. They gathered together with 195 performers from other northeast Ohio schools for three days of rehearsals, culminating in a concert under the direction of Dr. Paul Rardin of Temple University. Great job students and to Choir Director Bethany Pearce for her excellent instruction!
On Monday, December 12 at 6:30pm at our Board of Education meeting, we will discuss the plausibility of adding a field house, softball and baseball field, and greenhouse to our campus within the next five years. We aim to make this a part of our master plan; in addition to the master plan, we are in the process of developing a new strategic plan, as our previous five-year plan began in 2018 and will conclude in 2023.
Please consider participating in our donation drives and organizational fundraisers throughout this month. Now through December 16, the class of Room 132 at KES is collecting canned dog and cat food, puppy pads, blankets/towels, pet toys, paper towels, Dawn dish soap, sponges, and trash bags to be donated to the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County. Donations can be sent with your child or dropped off in the KES office.
Today is the LAST day to participate in our KMS/KHS PTA’s Yumkin fundraiser! More information is available on the News section of our website and on our social media pages. Items ordered will be available for pick-up on December 19.
Also, you can support our KHS FCCLA by ordering holiday cookie kits from now until December 9. The $15 kits include nine Christmas cookies, two bags of frosting, and two containers of sprinkles.
