Thanks to our KES PTA for holding a fun family movie night last Friday! We are so grateful for the work of our parent organizations and would like to recognize all the planning, organization, and dedication of our parent volunteers.
Of the PTA’s work, Elementary School Principal Jake Alferio states, “Our PTA at KES has been instrumental in helping us move forward with our many initiatives. They provide money/prizes/volunteers for all of our activities revolving around our PBIS initiatives, and they support our teaching staff by helping to fund field trips, providing meals during open houses in addition to funding classroom projects. Having an outdoor classroom is one of our big dreams here. They are currently adding to our pavilion with concrete pads. In the future, they are hoping to add a greenhouse.” He adds, “I could go on forever with the millions of ways that our PTA assists us, but in short, we are extremely thankful for them and their ongoing support!!”

Lastly, we are utilizing the Safer Ohio School Tip Line. The Tip Line is a free, 24/7 anonymous reporting system for schools. This tip line allows students and adults to anonymously share information with school officials and law enforcement about threats to student safety — whether that involves a threatened mass incident or harm to a single student.
