Logan Lowery to Perform Alongside World-Class Pianist

Keystone High School student Logan Lowery is one of only 100 students throughout Northeast Ohio that have been invited to perform alongside world-class pianist Lang Lang!

101 Pianists is a community-centered event that showcases 100 young pianists selected from Northeast Ohio schools. The students will join Lang Lang for a unique master class and public performance that celebrates the beauty and social nature of the piano. 101 Pianists, the brainchild of Lang Lang, seeks to share classical music with children around the world and offer piano students a chance to perform as a group.

The students will perform in pairs on 50 Roland keyboards, with Lang Lang at the center of the ensemble on a Steinway concert grand piano.

Tri-C’s Creative Arts Academy organized the selection process and event. Piano instructors throughout Northeast Ohio recommended students ages 6-18 with strong musical ability, performance experience and the ability to work in a group setting.

“The students who were selected to perform bring a high level of talent and will make this performance a quality event,” said Emanuela Friscioni, director of the Creative Arts Academy. “We are thrilled to welcome them to the stage to perform with Lang Lang.”

You can watch the performance LIVE, beginning at noon on May 3 @ 101 Pianists Live Broadcast.

Congratulations Logan!
