Outstanding Educator Award: Victoria Smith
Congratulations to Kindergarten Teacher Victoria Smith as she earned our 2023 Outstanding Educator Award! Within her nominations, colleagues said, "Vicky can always be found going above and beyond for her students. From trying new things, creating fun and creative projects, to running around at recess, she is ALWAYS putting her students first. She meets kids where they are emotionally and academically, and is right there with them to watch them grow every step of the way."
Outstanding Support Staff Award: Julie Fortune
In addition, congratulations to Student/Study Hall monitor Julie Fortune as she was named our Outstanding Support Staff Member of 2023. Of Julie’s success, staff members commented, "Julie cares about our students as if they were her own and changes the lives of students daily with just how much she cares. She takes pride in KHS and Keystone and does what is right, what is needed, and what others fail to do. Her positivity and pride in her work is unmatched by her counterparts."
