We are so proud of Keystone Middle School Intervention Specialist Heather Lahoski as she was named the Connecting for Kids 2023 Outstanding Educator!
Connecting for Kids is an organization that connects families of students with special needs with resources in the community to help address needs that extend past the classroom. The educator they select annually has to be nominated by someone outside the school system and they are chosen for going above and beyond to support families not just at school, but at home or in the community.
Mrs. Lahoski's nominator shared specific examples of how Heather's willingness to help create more structure to home environments helps not only the student but also the family as a whole!
