Patty Campbell retires after 33 years at KLSD

Congratulations to long-time Keystone employee Patty Campbell on her retirement! Patty has been with Keystone for the last 33 years.  She started as a substitute bus driver and worked her way up to senior driver, on a route for 32 years.  She also was a sub cleaner for the district every summer for around 15 years.

At a recent Board of Education meeting, Patty stated that she will “miss the kids most of all.”

Transportation Supervisor Therese Jackson adds,“Patty has developed lasting relationships with the kids she has driven.  She was even in a former student’s wedding. She loves her job but is ready to begin the next stage of her life.” Her post-retirement plans are to sleep in, travel, and visit her parents more often. Jackson states, “She has made great friendships with her coworkers as well and they are really going to miss her being there, especially around the holidays as she always decorated the garage for all the holidays.  She would always make it look so homey.  She will be greatly missed.”

Congratulations Patty!
