Learning Models & Transportation Questions

Learning Models & Transportation Questions

We received questions concerning Keystone’s learning platforms in regards to the Governor’s Commitment to Return to In-Person or Hybrid Learning Model by March 1, 2021.

Our remote and face-to-face learning models already satisfy the Governor’s mandate; thus, no changes will be made. Students who chose remote learning for Semester II will remain on the remote learning platform.

Additionally, we received questions concerning our COVID-19 safety measures. All of these measures, including spatial barriers, face mask requirements, plexiglass, social distancing, and cleaning protocols will remain in place as we follow the recommendations from the Lorain County Public Health Department and will continue to do so throughout the remainder of the school year.

This applies to transportation as well.  We must keep our riders appropriately distanced; thus, we cannot transport students who live within a one-mile radius of the school. This policy is still in effect for the rest of this school year.
