Cross Country Runner of the Year!

Cross Country Runner of the Year!

Keystone High School junior Stephen Faltay was named Lorain County’s Cross Country Runner of the Year! Faltay began running in sixth grade, training with the middle and high school teams before he could join competitively in the seventh grade. His favorite part about running is “competing with my team and reaching my goals.”

Keystone High School Cross Country Coach Tom Habenicht speaks very highly of Faltay’s work ethic and character. “Stephen is a selfless, hard-working young man. He has an outstanding work ethic and is always trying to be the best he can be: both as a runner and as a person. He always puts the team first, even above his own individual achievements. He is an inspiration to his teammates and a positive role model.”
