KHS Mock Trial Team Takes the Stand

Today, more than 2,000 Ohio high school students are competing in courtrooms across the state during the Ohio Center for Law-Related Education’s (OCLRE) 43rd Annual Ohio Mock Trial Competition. Teams will participate in two trials against opposing schools at the district competition.

Our KHS Ohio Mock Trial team, advised by Ash Hartman, includes Eli McConoughey, Julianna Menges, Kayla Ross, Elaine Teleha, Kinsley Goran, Gabby Cudo, Jael Gamble-Howard, Bella Deuley, and Avery Williams.

This year’s case requires students to analyze evidence and apply forensic techniques, including DNA evidence, digital records, and expert testimony.

Students serve as attorneys and witnesses, practicing courtroom skills evaluated by legal professionals. Ohio Mock Trial is the largest high school academic competition in Ohio.

Best of luck to our Mock Trial team as they take the stand for KHS!
