Vocalists at OMEA Honors Choir Festival

Vocalists at OMEA Honors Choir Festival

Congratulations to our seven KHS vocalists who represented Keystone at the OMEA District IV/VII Honors Choir Festival at Cleveland State this weekend.

These students spent 3 rigorous days in rehearsal with other choir students from the greater Cleveland area, and finished out their weekend with an outstanding performance on Saturday afternoon. The two honor choirs were conducted by Dr. Brian Bailey of Cleveland State, and Dr. Lisa Wong of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra Chorus.

Representing Keystone in the honors treble choir were Bryanna Keating, Rylin Barrett and Olivia Lamb.

Representing Keystone in the honors mixed choir were Marin Fedor, Kelsey Crislip-Cerro, Brennen Strimpel and Casey Ellis.

Of the event, Mrs. Pearce comments, "I was privileged to serve as the accompanist for the treble choir. These students put in so much hard work, and I am so proud of them!"
