We’re thrilled to celebrate the achievements of junior Mallory Skvor and senior Michael Gale as they earned commendations from the College Board National Recognition Programs. In addition to their outstanding GPA’s, they scored within the top 10% of students in the State who took the PSAT, and fell within the category of National Rural and Small Town Award (NRSTA).
Of this distinction, Principal James Kohler states, “I am so proud of Mallory and Michael. I have watched them both grow throughout their time at KHS. Their resumes are very impressive! In addition to their academic success, they are also active members of our school community! Both Mallory and Michael are in our KHS marching band, and Mallory is this year’s Drum Major. Michael is our trombone section leader. Mallory also volunteers her time to help students at KMS. Michael is also involved in cross country, and he has already won first place awards in two races this season!”
