Great work & Events to Come!

It is hard to believe, but we have already been through ¼ of our school year, with the grading period concluding next Friday, Oct 25. Thus far, students and staff have shown a commitment to academics, social responsibility, wellbeing, and extracurricular programs and sports! Witnessing this growth and watching the impact it has on students, is what makes Keystone a great place to live and work!

Great job to our second grade students and teachers, Mrs. Branco, Mrs. Falk, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Modock, and Mrs. Sigmund on holding a fun and successful Grandfriends Day! Second graders prepared for the celebration by practicing their musical performance – a grandparents rap song - and researching the differences between “then” and today. Invitees even brought in artifacts from their childhoods, including old typewriters, rotary phones, and more! Grandfriends enjoyed the performance and had a wonderful time bonding with students.

In upcoming events, I encourage you to join us at our Family Fall Fest for a day of food, games, activities, and a pumpkin egg hunt on Saturday, Oct 19 from 1-4pm. The event will take place behind Keystone High School, and the pumpkin egg hunt will begin at 1:30. Also, participate in our Pumpkin-themed Bake-Off!!  Both events are hosted by Keystone High School's Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) organization and Youth-4-Youth student group. See the baking contest details on our website in the news section.

Have a wonderful weekend Keystone! I hope to see you Saturday!
