Great Job Keystone!

Great job Keystone High School on holding another successful spirit week!! From participating in themed-days, to decorating the school, and rallying together at the annual bonfire, students displayed their Keystone spirit! Homecoming week continues today at the home varsity football game vs. Columbia, where our homecoming king and queen will be recognized. The homecoming celebration concludes this Saturday as the students dance the night away at KHS. I am very thankful for the hard work of the KHS staff for organizing these events, and I would like to recognize student council advisors Jennifer Fehlan-Joness and Dave Jones for all of their hard work in making this a fun and successful week for students as well as KHS Guidance Counselor Alyssa Schwedt for organizing the dance.

The Elementary and Middle School also held a special celebratory week called “Start with Hello.” Throughout this weeklong celebration, social inclusion is promoted with a variety of activities and theme days to encourage children and adults alike to make others a part of our daily activities. Great job to our KES and KMS Guidance Counselors Anna Turner and Kristen Lazard for celebrating this program at Keystone!

Student programs are also available through many outside organizations, such as the upcoming Hyland High School Innovation Showdown. This program is a team competition that asks students to come up with an innovative idea to solve a real-world problem. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. Each member of the 1st  Place Team will receive a $500 scholarship and have the opportunity to have a networking lunch with Hyland's Chief Product Officer. Teams must register by Thursday, October 3, 2019. Visit the news section of our website for more information.
