KLSD Welcomes New Treasurer

The Keystone Board of Education is pleased to announce the selection of Sandra Isabella as the district's next treasurer.

Ms. Isabella is currently serving as the treasurer of Mogadore Local Schools. She has an extensive background in education including roles as a reading specialist, elementary teacher and elementary principal. Her experiences equip her with a unique perspective and a broad skill set that will be invaluable in managing the district's finances and providing our students with a high-quality education.

Ms. Isabella holds a strong track record of financial stewardship and leadership in her previous positions. Her commitment to transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility aligns well with our district's values and goals.

Board President Pat Wakefield said, "We are very proud to announce Sandie as our next treasurer. She brings leadership and experience to the position. We are very excited for her financial leadership and the focus she brings to putting students and their learning first."

Finding Leaders, an educational search firm hired by the Keystone Board of Education, conducted an intensive search for qualified and successful treasurers. Finding Leaders first interviewed candidates before presenting the finalists to the Board of Education. The Board held interviews with the finalists and based on the interviews it was a unanimous decision to hire Sandra Isabella.

Ms. Isabella expressed her enthusiasm for joining the district, stating, "I am honored to join the Keystone Local School District. I look forward to working with the Board of Education and Superintendent Zach Weagley to serve the school system and community."

Ms. Isabella will begin her role as Treasurer on August 1, 2024. The district is excited to begin this new chapter and looks forward to the positive impact Ms. Isabella will undoubtedly make.
