Children ages 5-11 have now been approved for the COVID-19 vaccine. The approved vaccine needs a first dose, then a second dose three to six weeks later. Over the next few weeks, all parents and guardians will have the opportunity for their school-aged children to get vaccinated.
In an effort to meet some specific needs of this population, LCPH will have several clinics for ages 5-19 only. Parents may make a clinic appointment for their child online by clicking on a link below or by visiting LorainCountyHealth.com/coronavirus. Parents may also make an office appointment at Lorain County Public Health by calling 440-284-3206.
Click a clinic link below, or download the ArmorVax app (Apple or Android) and use the location code to make an appointment. Parents or guardians must create their own account in order to schedule an appointment for someone under the age of 18.
