Talented Musicians!

A talented group of Keystone musicians recently performed at the OMEA District IV/VII Honors Choir and Band festival at Cleveland State University. These students rehearsed for three days with students from all over northeast Ohio, culminating in a performance on Saturday afternoon. The honors choir was led by Dr. Vincent Oakes. Keystone honors choir participants were Madison Bowman, Donovon Lankey, Eli Ross, and Yamelix Tapia. Of her student’s performance, Vocal Music Instructor Mrs. Pearce states, “We had an awesome time. The students learned a lot from their guest conductor and they represented Keystone with pride!”

The Honors Bands were conducted by Dr. Rodney Dorsey, Director of Bands at Indiana University, and Dr. Birch Browning at Cleveland State. The Keystone Band members involved are Braden Cuson, Josh Sugerik, Tyler Semenik, Leah Long, Ayden Olic, and Bryson Kimble.

Great job to all of our musicians, led by our outstanding Band Director Brett Benzin and Vocal Music Instructor Bethany Pearce!
