A Fond Farewell

A Fond Farewell

Renee Mezera

Renee Mezera has been a part of our Keystone Board of Education for the past 12 years. She ran for the position to make a difference in the lives of students, and she has certainly done so.

Renee states, “I ran for the board to support Keystone Schools and make a difference in the lives of students.  My family and I moved into the District in June 2002. My friends quickly got me involved in the West Carlisle PTA.  Additionally, I worked on many of the levy committees.  I quickly realized that I wanted to do more and had hoped that my efforts would have a greater impact on our district, community, and students. Both my son and my daughter graduated from Keystone, and I so happy we made the decision to live in this amazing District.”

Of the accomplishments she is most proud of, Renee states, “Just look at our beautiful campus!  Years went into getting to where the district is today, but I have to say, the levy passage and our campus has to be one of the greatest accomplishments that we can all take pride in.”

After 12 years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to Keystone’s success, Renee’s last board meeting was an emotional one. She states, “I am just so incredibly grateful to be a part of such a wonderful school district; grateful to those that supported me; and so proud of our “small but mighty” district. We have an amazing Superintendent, Treasurer, Administrative Team, staff and students!”

Thank you, Renee, for your commitment to our District and the lasting positive impact you have made. We truly appreciate your years of service to the betterment of Keystone Local Schools.
