Welcome Back

Welcome back Keystone!  I am so excited to begin this school year, and I am eager to take this opportunity to share with you our many accomplishments from last year as well as our new initiatives and future plans!

We are excited to introduce seven new members of our teaching and support staff: Caylie Cabrera, Erin Klooz, and Tiffany Spinks will join KES, Mandy Glover and Alexis Kaczay will join KMS, and KHS welcomes Noelle Lewis. Deanna Watts joins our staff as our Social Worker, and Cathleen Walker is our new District psychologist.

Our technological resources have expanded, as we were able to purchase new Chromebooks for student use! These Chromebooks help our teachers and students in a variety of ways: engaging online programs, increased communication with students and educators across the nation, up-to-date trends, training for career success, and preparation for state assessments, as these tests are often administered in an online format.

In construction news, the Elementary School’s playground grass area was leveled.  The access road has also been improved, as we added a shoulder for enhanced safety. The High School’s roof project has been completed, and the air conditioning is running smoothly and coolly. Our campus tree project has begun and by the end of this fall, we hope to have 16 trees to enhance our already beautiful campus. The tree project will continue, and we are working on developing a sponsorship program with more information to come this fall.

Lastly, I would like our parents and community to know that we encourage communication on all levels. Please feel free to call or email members of our teaching staff, administrators, and myself as well with concerns, suggestions, or comments. We are always striving to meet the needs of students and are open to new ideas and initiatives, and your input enables us to reach this goal.

Have a wonderful first week of school Keystone!
