The impact the Keystone Athletic Team Supporters (KATS) organization has made in our district is truly hard to put into words. Thank you to Mike Conrad and all of the KATS members for raising nearly $1.5 million for our athletic department and for your continued support and encouragement of our students!
Mike Conrad is a proud Keystone High School graduate, and so are his three children—Mackenzie, CJ, and Austin. He has been a lifelong supporter of Keystone, giving his time in so many ways over the years, including coaching, mentoring, and serving on several advisory committees.
In 1996, Mike, along with Rick Shaw, Ron Shaw, Chuck Sturgill, and Chad Whitacre, founded KATS, and he has served as president since the very beginning! Their impact has been incredible—from providing financial assistance to families, offering scholarships, and supporting major facility improvements.
Most recently, KATS donated $650,000 toward the construction of our brand new on-campus baseball and softball complex, which will open this spring!
The mission of KATS is simple but powerful—to support the athletic endeavors of the young athletes in the Keystone community—and they continue to do just that every single day!
