It is hard to believe but Thanksgiving is next week! Break begins on Wednesday, Nov 27, and school resumes on Monday, Dec 2. Throughout the holiday season, we will be sponsoring a variety of donation drives at all three schools to assist local families in need.
The Elementary School is holding their annual Lions Club food and monetary donation drive throughout December. Items can be sent in with your child or dropped off in the KES Office.
The Keystone High School softball team is sponsoring Kayden’s Christmas Toy Drive now through December 13. Toys will be donated to local children. Thank you in advance for supporting these donation drives and for helping us spread holiday cheer for local families and their children.
Also, there is still time to participate in the KMS Student Council’s toilet paper drive for the Lions Club! Toilet paper will be collected until next Tuesday, Nov 26. Students will be creating STEM structures with the bathroom tissue packages, and the items will subsequently be donated to the Lions Club.
We are excited to host “Try it Tuesday” on November 26 in our elementary cafeteria where our students will have the option to eat yummy Keystone Stir Fry! Volunteers will also be present to assist with the event! Please encourage your student to give it a try!
Congratulations to our outstanding vocalists who were selected to participate in the OMEA’s District IV/VII Honors Choir at Cleveland State University! After three days of rehearsing, they took part in the outstanding performance! Congratulations to our students and to Keystone’s Vocal Music Instructor Bethany Pearce.
Great job to our students this week for performing a fun and entertaining variety show, and great job to Drama Club Director Anita Cutler for facilitating this awesome event! Keystone’s entertainment continues tonight, Friday, Nov 22 at the second annual Lip Sync Battle at 6pm at KHS. Tickets are $2 at the door, and concessions and raffles will also be available. Funds support the Keystone music department! Hope to see you there!
