Success, Events, and Employment

Great job to our KHS Guidance Counselors Alyssa Schwedt and Meghan Gallo for holding a successful Financial Aid night this Wednesday! At the event, counselors and guest speakers discussed how to complete the FAFSA, provided information about financial aid, and gave important details about Lorain County Scholarships. If you were unable to attend, please contact the KHS Guidance Office at 440-355-2400 for more information.

This week, our cheerleaders held the Little Wildcats Cheer Clinic. Our young Wildcats worked hard learning the cheers and expressing Keystone pride. Plan to welcome them as they perform with our cheerleaders at the home football game TONIGHT, vs. Clearview. Kindergarten, first, and second graders will cheer first quarter, performing their dance at the end of the quarter, and grades three, four, five, and six will cheer second quarter and perform their dance at the end of the quarter. Great job to our cheerleaders on preparing our KES students for this exciting night!

It is hard to believe, but our homecoming festivities kick off next week, which means we have been in school for a month! In celebration of homecoming, KHS will hold spirit week, the powderpuff game, bonfire, recognition of homecoming court at Friday’s football game, and the homecoming dance! Plan to celebrate these fun and exciting events with us!

In employment news, we are still seeking substitute bus drivers. Qualified applicants will have be 21 years or older, have a clean driving record, FBI & BCI Background check. Have a wonderful weekend Keystone!
