Join our directors for coffee and conversation about our multi-tiered system of supports we have for students. This will delve into our positive support programs, which are designed to create a safe and supportive school environment. Pupil Services Director Nikki Campbell and Curriculum Director Amanda Goran will lead the discussion, which will take place on Friday, Oct 21 from 10am-11am at Michelle’s Café at 548 North Center Street in LaGrange. We hope to see you there!

We are also hosting an encore parent night on October 19 to discuss bullying amongst today’s youth, titled “What it Is, What it Isn’t, and What to Do About It.” This includes discussion on the differences between physical bullying, verbal bullying, and the effects of social media on today’s youth.

Come walk the safe, warm halls of Keystone Elementary School from 6pm-8pm every Tuesday and Thursday from Oct. 4, 2022 through April 27. If school is not in session, indoor walking will not take place. Walk the ground floor route (five laps equals one mile), or walk the stairs route (five laps equals 1.1 miles).

Enter through Keystone Elementary School’s front doors and sign in at the indoor walking table. There is no cost to participate. All ages are welcome. If school is closed, indoor walking is canceled. Join our commitment to stay healthy, even amidst Ohio’s temperamental weather!

Remember to attend the FCCLA’s fall fest on Saturday, Oct 1 from 10am-noon at Wildcat Stadium. The event includes face painting, fall crafts, a FREE pumpkin hunt, games, and more! There will also be a costume contest at 10:30am.

We continue to be severely short staffed in our transportation department. The application process for driver positions is short and easy, and we will pay for training if needed.  Learn more about hours, pay, and training @ https://www.keystonelocalschools.org/about/news/1727217/urgent-need-for-bus-drivers.

We are also in desperate need of building substitutes, especially for our paraprofessionals. Paraprofessional substitutes do not need a Bachelor’s degree; the requirements are a high school diploma and paraprofessional/monitor’s license. This license can be obtained in less than one week! Paraprofessionals will often have a 1:1 student/teacher ratio.

Have a great weekend Wildcats!
