KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT
REGISTRATION TIMELINES
Kindergarten registration begins Tuesday, Feb 17 through Friday, May 29. To register an incoming kindergarten student for the 2026-2027 school year, a child must be five (5) years old on or before September 8, 2026. This requirement replaces Keystone’s previous August 1 cutoff date, which is no longer permitted under state law.
Registration will continue throughout the summer and into August, however, we cannot guarantee the start date being the first day of school.
Once you have completed your child's Final Forms registration, the KES office will contact you via phone to set up your Kindergarten Readiness Assessment appointment.
REQUIRED FORMS
- Must be a Keystone Local School District resident
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Record
- Custody/Residential Parent Papers (if applicable)
- 2 Proofs of Residency (ie. Utility bill, mortgage statement)
- Health Records
- Ohio Health History
- Physical Form
- Dental Form
- Legal Residency Form
- Notary Form (if applicable)
- Sign up for the mandatory KRA
FinalForms
Once you have uploaded and entered in all of the necessary information via Final Forms, you will receive an email stating that you are registered and complete. You can also check the status of your registration by logging on to FinalForms to see if your information is green.
