Career of the Week: Carpenter:
Construct, install, or repair structures and fixtures made of wood, such as concrete forms; build frameworks, including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; and wood stairways, window and door frames, and hardwood floors. May also install cabinets, siding, drywall and batt or roll insulation. Includes brattice builders who build doors or brattices (ventilation walls or partitions) in underground passageways.  College degree not required; carpenters typically learn on-the-job and/or through apprenticeships. Average wage in Ohio: $47,140 a year

College of the Week: Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED):
Community-based, public institution that provides interdisciplinary training of health professionals, offering both a doctor of medicine and a doctor of pharmacy degree.  The College offers a combined B.S. program with The University of Akron, Kent State University and Youngstown State University. In addition to these institutions, Cleveland State University makes up the educational consortium for the doctor of pharmacy program. Doctoral degrees offered. Yearly tuition for Ohio Residents: $9,954.

Hey Everyone! Winter Homecoming is going to be on Saturday February 1st this year! It will be
from 7- 10pm and will be $10 at the door. This year if you come you'll get the chance to win 2
prom tickets, no matter your grade level! Out of school guest forms are available in the office
and they are due to Mr. Kohler by Thursday, January 30. If you have any questions, see Ms. Stratton.

FYI: 18 year old students and over CANNOT call to report themselves as absent.  You are still a liability of the school and therefore a parent/guardian must make any calls to report you as absent and write all notes including any early dismissals!
