Sem II Delayed Start

Sem II Delayed Start

Flexibility is of profound importance during this unpredictable school year. As such, we appreciate your willingness, as parents, staff, and community members, to embrace this flexibility.  After analyzing feedback about our first semester, we will delay the start of the second semester by three days, with both face-to-face and virtual students resuming classes on Monday, Jan 25. Students will not have school on Jan 20, 21, and 22.

We continue to hear positive feedback from the community regarding our remote and face-to face instruction this school year. We found that this success was, among other factors, a result of the extra planning time staff members had at the beginning of the year.

I do not want to rush preparation for the second semester. Thus, to give our staff additional time to prepare barriers, adjust bus routes, solidify routines,  and collaborate, students will not begin classes for the second semester, either remotely or in-school, until Monday, Jan 25.
