The KMS Special Olympics team had a triumphant meet on Friday.
5th grader Morgan Jackson took 1st place in the Girls 8-11 age bracket for the 50 Meter Dash.
5th grader Jason Rising took 2nd place in the Boys 8-11 age bracket for the Softball Distance Throw.
6th graders Steven Hogue and Kyle Porter took 1st and 2nd place respectively in the Boys 12-15 age bracket for the Softball Distance Throw.
7th grader Hayley Voelker took 1st place in the Girls 12-15 age bracket for the 25 Meter Walk.
The entire team would like to send out a SPECIAL thank you to 6th grader Shawna Porter for making spirit signs for all the members of our team. You, Shawna, are the best cheerleader we could ever have!
